Resplandor De Vida (RDV), a Christ-centered home for impoverished children, located in the outskirts of Juarez, Mexico, opened in October 2010. Harvest Hands Ministries works together with Joaquin Estupinan and his wife, Dalia, Directors of this home and the RDV staff, sharing in a desire to help children and their parents overcome the challenges of severe poverty. Currently, 23 children call RDV home along with our full-time staff and their children. The directors and employees are dedicated to helping each and every child in all aspects of their development. This means concentrating on their physical, mental and especially their spiritual well-being. Prayer, bible study, proper nutrition, rest and hygiene, music, handcrafts, tutorial help, and exercise are part of their daily lives at Resplandor De Vida.
Having structure in their routine along with loving discipline has brought stability to what was previously for many, a chaotic and dysfunctional life. Above all, teaching the children about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrating God's love has guided them on the path to eternal life.
