Text Box: DESERT FARMS COLONIA FEEDING PROGRAM
200 children receive two meals per week at their school and also hot nutritious meals during vacation bible schools held at the Resplandor de Vida mission.

RESPLANDOR DE VIDA MISSION
HHM is constructing a children’s shelter in Juarez. This will be a home to 50 impoverished Mexican children ages 6-12 and is located in the Desert Farms Colonia. This community is made up of pallet houses with dirt floors, no water, electricity or gas. God has called us here to work with the poorest of poor. The project consists of two dormitories. One is almost complete and the second has been started. The required wall (9’ ht.) around the property has been finished. The director, Joaquin Estupiñan, is a graduate of the Bible Institute, All the Nations for Christ. He and his wife, Hortencia, run the Resplandor de Vida mission.

47 MEXICAN STUDENTS SPONSORED DURING THE 2007-08 ACADEMIC YEAR
The Lord provided funds to sponsor 47 Mexican children/adults to attend school, grades 1-university. Tuition, bus fare, books, uniforms, shoes, sneakers, underwear, backpacks, personal care items and school supplies were provided. In addition, 400 school supply packages were distributed to needy Mexican children. We anticipate the sponsorship of 42 students, including seven at college level, for the 2008-09 academic year.

12-MONTH PASTORAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Two Mexican pastors are assisted with a love offering monthly. We also fully support the directors and staff of the Resplandor de Vida mission monthly.

SUNDAY SCHOOL MATERIAL
Sunday school curriculum is provided regularly to a Mexican church.

THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF PINTO BEANS DISPENSED
Dispensas of flour, rice and donated beans are given to needy families on a monthly basis. We received a total 18,000 pounds of beans in 2007 & another 18,000 pounds in 2008 thanks to many brothers and sisters through Justice For All, Rock Valley, Iowa. Nine one-ton “Tote” bags were delivered containing navy, kidney and pink beans and another 180 100# bags of pinto beans. All the beans were equally enjoyed and appreciated by the Mexican people. Approximately 2000 meals are provided for monthly in Mexico between the feeding & dispensa programs, VBS and RDV mission.

AMERICAN TEAMS HOSTED
Twelve American teams are scheduled to work with HHM doing construction, vacation bible schools, medical clinics, food dispensing, door-to-door ministry/evangelism and interacting with the Mexican people.

MEDICAL & PERSONAL ASSISTANCE
Throughout the year, HHM provides funds for numerous medical needs and some surgeries. Mercy assistance is given to individuals and families to help meet basic needs that might not otherwise be met such as food, propane for heat & cooking and shelter .

VITAMIN PROGRAM
A vitamin donation to HHM allows us to provide 40 Mexican children and teens with vitamins monthly.
